　チェンマイに旅をして、アーチ橋のたもとでテント泊、翌日、クンタン駅に向かいます
　On the second day we visited Khun Tan Station and then drove to the nearby Three Tower and Two Tower bridges. I’ve wanted to go here for a long time and so it was a special moment for me.
　英語教師リチャードは自動車でThree Tower and Two Tower bridgesを訪れたようで、長い間来たかったところであり、訪問は彼にとって特別の時であった､､､とのこと。

　当然のこと？ですが、Three Tower and Two Tower bridgesで検索しても出てきません。

　ただし、Three Tower bridgeの方は、次回4月のメーホンソン星見遠征の帰り道で立寄ろうとしていたコンポジット橋の山側にあり、タイ語だと「サームホー橋」すなわち「三つの塔の橋」となります。このサームホーについてはGoogleマップの写真で見て立寄ろうとしていた橋でした。
　そしてさらにこの隣にあるのがTwo Tower bridgeで「ソンホー橋」のようです。

　これがいずれかのTower bridgeのようです。

　写真と地図を見て橋を見ようと思っていたわけですが、沢筋を歩いて道なき道を進まないとダメだろうと思っていましたが、Xを見る限り橋にアプローチできる筋があるようで、まずは一安心､､､

　I had a great time this weekend with the Railfan club that I belong to. We chartered a JR-West sleeper carriage that was attached to Special Express No. 13/14 to Chiang Mai.

There we rented a car for 800 baht per day for the drive to Tha Chomphu in Lamphun. Here we spent the night at White Bridge Camping (https://maps.app.goo.gl/miGnzCZBqZsg9QfLA?g_st=ic) near the landmark railway bridge.

We slept in our own tents which cost us 100 baht each to pitch them at the campsite. On the second day we visited Khun Tan Station and then drove to the nearby Three Tower and Two Tower bridges. I’ve wanted to go here for a long time and so it was a special moment for me.

It was then time to go back to Chiang Mai to catch the train back to Bangkok. It was exhausting as it was two nights on the train and then one night in a tent. But it was really worth it for the experience. I always look forward to these Railfan trips.

I’m now home for at least a week as I have to prepare for a talk I will be giving at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs about rail tourism on 4th April. It will take me a while to prepare as my session is 90-minutes long. But I have plenty of stories and pictures from my recent trips that I think I will be alright.

School goes back in early May and so I have another month of holiday.

バンコクに戻る電車に乗るためにチェンマイに戻る時間になりました。電車で2泊し、その後テントで1泊したのでとても疲れました。しかし、本当にそれだけの価値のある経験でした。私は鉄道ファンの旅行をいつも楽しみにしています。

4月4日に外務省で行う鉄道観光に関する講演の準備をしなければならないため、現在少なくとも1週間は自宅にいます。セッションの長さは 90 分なので、準備に時間がかかります。でも、最近の旅行の話や写真がたくさんあるので、大丈夫だと思います。

学校は5月初旬に再開されるので、さらに1か月の休暇があります。
